Anniversary WeekendCategory:
My Life
Whenever we’re on vacation, I like myself better. I’m not as cranky, more patient, and more in love with my wife. Argh. That makes me frustrated. I wish I could release myself more often and just be less serious with myself. Most of the time during the week, I have work or freelance jobs or church or some other thing on my mind. I work so hard to make enough money so that we can get away. The harder I work, the more often I feel yukky about my behavior. The more often that happens, the more I need vacation. Then I need to make more money so I can take a bigger vacation. I know, I’m complaining. After a weekend like the one we just had, I should just shut up and ENJOY it for a moment! Can’t wait for two weeks from now when we go away for a whole week. Ahhhh. Just the thought makes me feel better. Thank you, Lord, for bringing me closer to my wife this weekend. You are faithful to us. Posted by pablohart on June 29, 2002 06:59 PM |
