Two Hours to the Two TowersCategory:
My Life
I’m excited to see the next installment of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Two Towers. I anticipate having a hard time filtering through the graphic, heart-killing evil that will appear in this movie to get to the real story that lies within. As much as I get into this sci-fi work of genious, and as many people that draw Christian themes from this story, I still wonder deep down if Satan doesn’t have a huge play into these films. No doubt the special effects will blow me away… things I’ve never seen on film before. No doubt the story is amazing. No doubt Peter Jackson is a genious. But what does God think of the films? Will He use me through the viewing of these films to build the kingdom of God? I’ll post another entry tomorrow. Posted by pablohart on December 18, 2002 04:23 PM |

yes dude! aww, you spoke too soon i fear. there is so much about the importance of Ecological Theology (note the trees and their pain) and the fact that violence/war is not the most effective means for problem solving. the armies only fight because they have to in this film. you'll see. have fun dude! can't wait to talk to you about it.
