Is Our Church Ready to Change?Category:
Church
Last night I met with a committee from our church for the first of three meetings on what to recommend to our council about how to “redream” our church’s mission. The meeting went well—a lot of good discussion. One of the things we talked about was taking an assesment of our church to try and get an idea of where we’re at… if we’re in need of change and redreaming or if we’re doing well. One option was to have people participate in a free test called Initial Considerations: Initial Inventory. I took the test and got a score of 35. We need some help. A score of 40 or less calls for significant “Readiness” activities, as well as solid professional coaching. After reading through Readiness, consider these suggestions.Posted by pablohart on February 18, 2003 12:24 PM |
