No Blogging for LentCategory:
Recommendation
I found this very interesting. A fellow Christian blogger has decided to give up blogging for lent. I can relate to this as blogging, just like anything else, can become an obsession… something that you think about a lot. Here’s what he said about lent and his blog: “I’ve decided to largely knock off the blog for Lent. This is aided and abetted by St. Paul, who says ‘Set your mind on heavenly things, not on earthly things.’ A too close attention to the stream of news is inimical to this. Lent therefore seems like a good time to back away from it and start contemplating the Blessed Virgin (the subject of my book).” I think /my/ blog has helped me discuss, struggle, and expand fellowship with other believers like I hoped it would. hey there, nice blog you have here. i surfed in off of 'who links who'.
anyways, i liked the quote you have in your linked post..."I'm tired of covering up my real life with fake smiles and happy replies when sometimes I'm just hurting, confused, and unsure of the future. I am looking for people to be honest with, and for some reason I have found them here, online."
