Mosaic Life

Category: Church , Recommendation

I met someone this weekend that totally impressed me. He is the pastor of a new church in my area that is breaking new ground in the areas of anti-racism, and postmodernism. As far as I’m concerned, he’s starting a church that should be a model for every church. In fact, it’s where I want to go. In talking with him, I was blown away that someone is actually living out my dream of recognizing, confronting and actually doing something about the culture that invades our lives. They’re not ignoring culture.

Mosaic Life

The Vision—a new church, for a new era, gathering a new community.
  • where people from different racial and ethnic groups form meaningful and lasting relationships.
  • where people at different places on a spiritual journey can pursue a relationship with God
  • where people can express their passionate love for God in creative and relevant ways
  • where people discover and live their life purpose by compassionately serving others
  • where people authentically share the transforming power of God in their lives with others

Praise God there’s a light in the darkness. I think I’ll have to check it out!
