The “Unchurched”Category:
Church
I’m not crazy about calling people “unchurched” because it sounds like they’re in the wrong—it’s not politically correct. But, Barna’s at it again with some very interesting statistics. Number of Unchurched Adults Has Nearly Doubled Since 1991 These stats just convey the fact that the church is on its way out as a place people want to spend their time. It’s becoming fairly obvious to me that we need to do something as a church and churches to attract more people. The largest and mostly unanswered question I still have is, “What in the world are we going to do?” But I also wonder if the church is willing to do something, anything to make a difference. Drop by and check out this sight...in the development stages.
Welcome, Barbara. Interesting posts on your site. And interesting taglines. I'm sorry your experience is as such that you weren't "listened to." There's obviously a lot of pain there. I'll be watching what happens on your site.
FYI, the way you had your URL written was wrong. I figured out what it was and corrected it.
