I take refuge in the fact that God hears my prayer. I pray for many things, anywhere, anytime. I pray when life is happening—during the here and now. I pray short, quick prayers mostly. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:16 I don’t pray enough. That begs the question, "what is enough? Throughout my life, I can see that I don't talk to my wife enough or to my friends enough, but we cherish the moments that we do take to talk.... or try to.
One would think that God would be delighted with the moments that you do spend with Him and even the short prayers you offer up. Better short and to the point than long, drawn out ramblings that don't say much and end up become "ear tickling" conversation, right?
'preciate the comments, michael. i do agree that "ramblings" be unecessary, and don't tend to be much of a talkative person myself.
