What is Podcasting?
Think of your iPod (or other portable audio player) as having a set of subscriptions that are checked regularly for updates. It’s like subscribing to a newsletter with your email, but instead of text, you get audio files (mp3s).

If you’re interested in actually doing Podcasting, you’ll need software to download the podcast files. one of the most popular software programs is iPodder for Mac and PC.
