Make Poverty HistoryCategory:
Social Justice
I did some more research on the “Make poverty history” campaign and was really impressed. MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY is a massive, concerted effort to end world poverty in a year when extraordinary and radical progress is finally possible. Archbishop Desmond Tutu said: “2005 is a year of great opportunity. We can really do something to change the world. The time has come to stop talking and start taking some action. If everyone who wants to see an end to poverty, hunger and suffering speaks out then the noise will be deafening. Politicians will have to listen.” To show your support for the campaign buy this wristband. Cotton - 6cm diameter with plastic fastener, overall length 18cm. I’m ordering a few. If you want one, let me know. Posted by pablohart on April 02, 2005 11:08 AM |
