Katrina on GoogleCategory:
News
I was snooping around on Google tonight looking at my house and a few other places on Google maps like I sometimes do. But this surprised me a little. If you look at New Orleans, they have added a tab to the map navigation that allows you to toggle back and forth between the hurricane destruction of Katrina and the old, normal satellite view. Try it. Go to maps.google.com and type in New Orleans. You’ll see the red Katrina button along with the “map, satellite, and hybrid” buttons. Zoom in and click between the “Katrina” and “Satellite” views. Crazy. Posted by pablohart on September 25, 2005 06:25 PM |
