My Life
There’s this sweet little book about life by Dr. Seuss called “Oh the Places You’ll Go!” Every time I read it to my kids I really appreciate its ability to encourage, yet paint a picture of reality for them. This excerpt is a description of my life in the last few years.

pablo -- wow, is this deja vu all over again or what?!
in the 'maranatha' years (1986-2002) i hosted an early morning men's group and used this book during one of our multi-week sessions to encourage, yet paint a picture of reality for them, as you say. it generated a bunch of discussion re: life journeys.
interesting, that you write about this.
it ties in with my comment at aunt susan's wedding, that at that time i was the same age you are now. hmmmm.
