The other day, we had a family “reunion” where there were members of several generations present. It was a joyous time of gathering and sharing. For years, I’ve been using iPhoto to showcase a series of photos for family gatherings. But this time, my father-in-law also had a computer present where he wanted to show his photos. He had spent hours on making a nice slideshow “movie” for us to watch. I was impressed! I also had my computer along to show some photos as I usually did. Grandpa, the most experienced photographer in the group, took notice of the fact that we each had our own computers to share our photos. There was an upspoken observation that we’re moving away from “hard copy” photo sharing to digital photo sharing. Posted by pablohart on April 20, 2006 11:37 AM |
